Tone Adapt — Privacy Policy

Overview

Tone Adapt is a guitar-tone advisor that translates the recorded tones of famous songs into settings for your specific rig. We built the app to need none of your personal data.

Information We Collect

Tone Adapt does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No account is required to use the app.
• We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location.
• We do not collect analytics, telemetry, or usage data.
• We do not use third-party tracking SDKs.

Local Storage

The app stores the following data only on your device:

• Your gear profile (guitar, amp, pedals, multi-FX)
• Saved and adapted tones
• Practice goals and roadmap progress
• App preferences

This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

Tone Adapt does not call any third-party APIs from the app itself. The catalog of community tones is shipped inside the app bundle. Album artwork shown in the tone catalog is loaded from public CDNs (Apple Music / Deezer image hosts) when you view a tone — no identifying information is sent with those image requests.

Subscriptions

Any optional subscription is handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We never see your payment information. Purchase receipts are validated on-device.

Children

Tone Adapt is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any data from children.
