Start with Volume at unity, Drive around 4 for a medium crunch, Tone at 5, and the switch on Low-Peak for an open amp-like voice. Flip to High-Peak and raise the Drive for cutting leads.
What does the OCD HP/LP switch do?
It changes the voicing: High-Peak (HP) boosts upper mids and output for more cut and apparent gain; Low-Peak (LP) is flatter, more open and more amp-like. Choose HP for leads or dark amps, LP for a natural rhythm tone.
