Songs whose original tone used a Fender Mustang. Don’t own one? GuitarToneAdapt re-creates the sound on the guitar and rig you actually have.
The Fender Mustang is a short-scale offset with two bright, lower-output single-coils — snappy, a little loose and jangly, with less low-end tension than a full-scale Strat. It’s the alt-rock and grunge sound (Kurt Cobain, Nirvana) that takes fuzz and dirt beautifully. Being bright and lower-output, it wants more gain and trimmed treble versus a humbucker guitar to land the same tone.
